I sat by the guy I had seen when I got onto the train. He was busy listening to music and reading emails on his phone. I knew I didn't have long on the train so I might as well make the best of what time I have and get boyfriends spirit in him.
I recited the incantation to release my boyfriends spirit from the talisman that I kept him in. I watched as the man beside me tensed up as my boyfriend took him over. Then I heard a deep exhale from the guy beside me and then I felt his hand move closer to mine, I felt his pinkie finger touch mine. He had the guy, I looked over at him and he turned to me with a friendly smile to not make it look out of place on the train. I saw his eyes move from me and onto the toilet sign in front of us. I gave a slight nod and got up and started to walk to the toilet. I heard him get up as well, the sound of his shoes squeaked as he tread behind me.
I got into the toilet and then only a few seconds later he entered. We were pressed up against each other, I could feel his breath on my skin which smelled like coffee. He towering over me and smiled down at me as his hand disappeared behind him and the toilet lock clicked shut.
He brought his hand back and placed it on my cheek, he caressed his thumb softly over my cheek and then pulled me into a kiss.
I could taste the coffee I had smelt earlier on his breath, his stubble was soft against my skin, the smell of his cologne was enticing with its deep wood tones but as much as I reveled in the moment I pulled away.
“What is it” he said raising his eyebrows with a worried yet confused tone, “are you okay?”
He asked
“Yeah” I gasped as I tried to catch my breath from the kiss, “it’s just I don’t have a lot of time, that's all” I replied looking up into his green eyes
“Don’t worry” he said with a slight chuckle and a soft smile, “we have enough time” he said in a relaxed tone
I breathed out “okay” I said, “you’re right, I think I am just nervous for the interview”
“That's understandable it's your dream job, why wouldn’t you be but you have to remember that you are the right person for the job” he said with his hand still on my cheek, “I want you to you to tell me right now that you are okay and that you have got this” he said looking into my eyes
“Okay” I said taking a breath, “I have got this, I am the right person” I said out loud and then two more times under my breath. I looked up at him with a smile and moved back in for the kiss.
He pulled out “see you have got this” he said
“I know, you always know how to calm me down” I said laying my face into his hand with a smile
I smiled again and then pulled me in once again for a kiss. But in that moment the overhead speak said “Next station is London Kings Cross, this train terminates here…”. As the announcement went on about how you should leave any belongings behind we were still in the moment.
“Okay let’s go” I said
He dropped his hand down onto my shoulder and lowered his chin with a light smile. He let a breath out “Okay, lets go”
We freshened up, me by making sure that my tie was okay and him by stroking his hands through his stubble like it was his.
We exited the toilet and made moved over to the carriage doors, we stood beside each other as the train pulled into the platform. He looked over at me with a smile and his hand still on mine, then I chanted the incantation once again and let got the man's hand as I did. The man shook his head like he had just came out of a day dream and then got his bearings realising we had arrived at our destination. We stepped off the train and went our separate ways.
