Learning a New Trick - Chapter 1

Updated: Apr 27, 2019

Part 1: Wanted to do a continuous story, so here we go.

It all started off as an accident for Nelson. He didn't know that this was possible through astral projection. Different bed. Different room. Different body.

College life was a struggle. Throughout the first semester, it was like one gigantic juggling act between keeping up with school work, family, exercising, and having a social life. One mistake and it could all come crashing down;  an unfamiliar concept to Nelson who usually had his life in order and under control.

To alleviate with all this stress, Nelson opened up his laptop and started searching on Google and clicked on the first link that appeared. Yoga, exercising, reading. It’s all the same typical bullshit that he already knew about, but he wanted something more. He scrolled down a bit more, and right before he was going to click back, one of the entries caught his eye. Astral projection. Nelson scoffed at first but he read the description over anyways and it perked his attention. The site made it sound like the experience was an otherworldly daydream vacation you can go on a whim.

“Would be cool to float around and visit anywhere in the world” he muttered to himself. Nelson started practicing only a little bit whenever he had time to squeeze in when he was about to sleep. At first, the experience was just like normal meditation which flustered Nelson, but he enjoyed the calmness it brought along.

Nelson persisted with trying what he read and then it eventually happened. The library was open later than usual for final exams and Nelson finally reached his breaking point. He placed his throbbing head down on the hard cool table and closed his eyes. The soft rustling of pages and whispers of students filled the room with a low hum of activity. Nelson’s breathing slowed down joining the beat of his surroundings and he started to feel at ease. The pounding drum in his head became lighter and lighter and eventually it completely stopped. So did the rest of the noises from the library and Nelson opened his eyes.

He was floating over his sleeping body. Instead of feeling frightened at this sight, Nelson felt at ease, but that was all he felt. No longer were there the weights of his weary tired body, and instead, it was replaced with a sense of- nothing. Nelson’s first reaction was to look down at his current self. Instead of the outlines of his usual body was replaced with a gentle pulsating glow of yellowish light. He did it. He finally projected himself out of his body.

Brimming with excitement, Nelson tried to float up to see what he could do and explore, but instead, he came crashing back down into his body. Instantly, he felt like a jackhammer was in his head, but also the blanket of warmth of being back in his body. Nelson groggily raised his head and closed his books. He was going to need more practice.

Fast forward into the spring semester, and Nelson became more adept at projecting himself during his time off during winter break. Now he was able to stay out of his body for as long as he wanted, however he could only travel about 100 ft away from his body. One thing that he observed while projecting was that he was tethered by a silver thread to his physical body. He also noted that while projecting, his surroundings were generally foggy unless he gave enough focus onto a specific detail. Day by day however, he managed to get a little bit farther, but he wanted to be able to explore much more.

The daily bustle in the college dorm was typical in the morning. The buses engine roared outside Nelson's room as they shuttled students away to another part of the campus. The constant noise of doors opening and closing, the shuffling of feet, and friendly conversations sprinkled the otherwise quiet Monday morning to begin the spring semester. Nelson grumbled, stretching in his bed savoring the thought that he didn't have classes until the afternoon. He decided to start off his day by doing some quick practice to see how much farther he could get away today. Before he knew it, he was levitating above his body and he phased through the wall to get outside. He saw the bus stop across the street, and this time he set the student center as his goal to reach. He knew he was pushing it since the student center was about three times the distance he was able to pull off, but Nelson didn't mind this. He willed himself forward, just as fast as the passing by cars underneath and he watched as the bus stop came and passed beneath him.

He rejoiced as the student center got closer and closer, but Nelson knew something was instantly wrong when his surroundings started to get dimmer and dimmer. This never happened before. Nelson instantly look back to find the thread that connected him to his body, but it vanished. Panic started to set in as the world got darker and darker.

Was this the end? Nelson thought. He never read about the cord ever being broken from other people's shared experience online. Nelson only knew one thing however, he needed to get back to his body. he moved as fast as he could as his surroundings were going completely black. Nelson put in the last of his energy into focusing on one spot where he thought his room was in and it shone weakly like a candle at the end of the tunnel. Without thinking, he rammed himself straight through the wall and hoped for the best.

Nelson gasped as all his senses were suddenly flooded once more compared to the void he almost met his demise in. Nelson opened his eyes, and the morning rays blinded his eyes and he let out a laugh of relief, but it wasn't his own, it was a deeper bellow. He instantly noticed that his room was similar, but yet it wasn't his usual things. Instead of his usually organized room, he saw a room with a television next to the bed with clothing littered around the room. A gym bag and protein powder bottles and containers were laying on a wooden counter on the other side. The thing is, Nelson never went to the gym.  Despite all the differences in the room, what truly caught his eye sat in the reflection of the closet mirror. A muscular guy stared blankly back. Nelson looked into the handsomely chiseled face and he saw himself behind the warm dark eyes of his next-door neighbor, Mark. Tearing his gaze away from the mirror, Nelson looked down at his body and instead of his slim physique, he saw something completing foreign. Large pecs with cobblestones abs sprawled themselves across his torso. Nelson gasped in shock and watched as his massive chest rose with his breath. Nelson's attention was then diverted to his arms, and he marveled at how beefy they looked. His massive bicep shifted like a wave with a simple twist of his arms. Nelson then brought his hands to his chest and he saw two large worn hands gingerly touch the foreign chest and abs beneath him. He felt the gentle touch as his hands bobbled over his washboard stomach, a strange sensation that Nelson has never felt. He couldn’t believe it. Nelson looked back into the mirror and so did Mark, but this time he had a ghostly pale look plastered across his face. Nelson got up and instantly felt disoriented now that he was a solid foot taller. He walked slowly up to the mirror and stared at Mark and Mark looked back. He smiled and Mark’s usual grin that he saw when he walked by his room reflected back.  “H-hey,” Nelson said, and he heard Mark’s voice whimper back; a far car from Mark's usual outgoing cocky tone. This had to be a dream. Nelson stood there looking at the guy he admired from afar the last semester, but yet this time he was intimately close on a level he couldn’t fathom.

Suddenly, Nelson jumped as a phone alarm blared throughout the room and Nelson quickly looked over to find Mark’s phone hidden underneath the bed sheets. Nelson instinctively placed his thumb over the main button and Mark's phone unlocked through the fingerprinted code. The room went precariously quiet leaving Nelson to his thoughts and a glowing screen in his hands shining back at him.

He raised the phone to the mirror and snapped a picture and texted the picture over to his phone.

“This has to be a dream” Nelson muttered to himself repeatedly, but each time Mark's voice left his throat, it reaffirmed either it was a vivid hallucination, or it was actually happening. He glanced back up at his new self and Nelson decided he needed hard evidence to make sure this was not just a dream. He raised the phone to the mirror and snapped a picture and texted the picture over to his phone. After hearing the ping, confirming the text was sent, Nelson placed the phone down at the side of Mark's bed and sighed.

Should he try projecting himself again to go back to his body? The thought of the bleak world that he almost ended up in scared him, but he couldn't stay stuck in Mark's body forever. Nelson tried to ignore the image in the mirror, and the brawny body that was somehow now under his command. He knew getting back to his original body should be the top of his priority, but he couldn't help but feel to explore the situation, or rather Mark's body even more. Nelson's lustful feelings were getting the best of him, and he shifted uncomfortably feeling the growing pressure that was quickly revealing itself through Mark's boxer shorts that strapped against his bulky legs.

"Well this is probably all a dream anyways" Nelson reasoned with himself. After all, how can he be the first of people to accomplish such a feat. Nelson laid down onto the bed and started exploring Mark's body bit by bit. First, he firmly grasped the meaty pecs rising and falling with each of his breaths and admired their size. He then gently caressed his nipples and gasped at how sensitive they were. Nelson vigorously rubbed them and watched as they slowly popped out and hardened, just like the tent that firmly erected itself beneath the thin fabrics of Mark's boxers. Nelson quickly shucked the boxers off, letting Mark's member pop loose and he pumped Mark's meat moaning loudly like the many times he has heard him through the walls. Nelson could feel it coming, and with his last thrust he groaned, but in his regular voice.

Nelson eyes shot open as he found himself back in his own room in a slightly tired state. His heartbeat was slow, and his body was calm and reserved unlike how he just felt seconds ago in what he imagined when he was in Mark's body.

I guess it was dream all along, Nelson thought as he got dressed to get ready for class. He put his book bah on, and checked his phones for any updates, and he gaped seeing a text from an unknown number not in his contacts. He quickly opened it up, and there he saw the same exact picture that he took while he was in Mark. Nelson blinked his eyes repeatedly in disbelief. Apparently, he had gained a skill that no one has ever mentioned about astral projection. He quickly put his phone away, trying to process this new found information as he left his room and locked the door. As he did, he saw Mark come out quietly with a bewildered look on his face. This time, Mark had a shirt on, with a towel in his hand. Nelson froze, wondering if Mark somehow knew what happened, but he didn't even give Nelson a glance as he quickly walked towards the dorm's shared bathroom.

Nelson signed in relief, as he heard Mark's footstep slowly echo away. Nelson looked back at Mark's room, and saw it was slightly ajar. Nelson looked both directions to see if anyone was around, and he peered into Mark's room and saw everything completely as he did just minutes before. Nelson quietly entered the room, and he looked back onto the bed he was just on, and there he saw fresh cum puddles that splattered across a part of the dark blue sheets.

Confirmed without a doubt of what just transpired , Nelson quickly left the room and closed the door behind him. He walked down the hallways out of the building with a new jump into his step, unsure how to digest all this new information and power.

Unbeknownst to Nelson as he walked out of the building, Mark's friend watched from down the hall as he saw him discreetly leave Mark's room. Curious as to why someone who Mark has never really talked to was in his friends room, he walked up and opened the door to ask his friend what's up but to his surprise he found it was empty.
