Author’s Note: The original images in this story were not usable anymore. I wrote this when I was a teenager and I didn't have any sort of concept about who I could be posting about. This is also the first part in the story where I introduce myself - it's also the first story on the blog with me in it. At the time it felt exciting and new and then somehow I just ran with it. I also wanted to start telling my readers about myself in a way that I felt comfortable sharing. That is the most important thing.
This story was originally posted as part of the Summer Season (2015) titled "323: Borrowed" and the image was posted by TheBodySwapClique.
In order for me to stay hidden on this planet I was going to need another body, but for the time being in order for me to be hidden while looking for a new body I needed a large coat. I found a rather large one in the closet and used that to get around, hidden under the silk lining and polyester fashion fabric that rustled and became sticky in the summer heat.. I wanted to be quick and I couldn’t do that if I took my other gelatinous form. It would take hours for me to find a body in that form and if I did I would be stuck taking over the closest schmuck.
Cody was in perfect condition when I found him, sitting inside of a coffee shop located near my place of living with a glass container filled with a brown substance and what I figured was ice clinking around inside. He was scrolling through his phone as he sipped on his beverage and chuckled every now and then at the occasional meme from his social media feed. I was trying not to draw too much attention, hiding in the darker corners of the shop, but discretion was not my strong suit. I bumped into plenty of people and I was almost discovered by a little girl who was grabbing onto the bottom of my coat screaming something about being an alien and a scary monster. Were they wrong? No. Maybe about the scary monster thing. But they were aliens too.
He continued to stare at his phone as he walked out of the shop, getting one of the cold brews to go. The ice caused the plastic to sweat and he sipped on it as he walked around the building. I hid in an alley, watching from behind a dumpster and waiting until he came into view. When I was ready to attack, my leg hit an empty beer bottle sending it across the pavement with a clattering noise that echoed throughout the confined behind the coffee shop. His attention had been caught, but he was about to run when I held my hand out, wheezing. I don't really know why I wheezed, it was just the only thing I could think of in the moment. He came, however, and I was able to grab him and toss him into the wall, knocking him out. I propped his body up against the dumpster and lifted up his shirt, discarding the overly large jacket I had been wearing earlier. I wasn't going to need it in a few moments. I dragged him into the alley behind the dumpster and I tore off his shirt. I would not be bonding with this one like I did the previous host. I only needed him to blend in until my original returns to its normal state.
I melted like the ice cubes laying in a coffee puddle on the ground and slid up his body. With his shirt tight around his muscular chest, I had clear access to the waistband around his bottom half. I pushed myself in between and found the appendage I would be entering pressed up against a tight pair of boxer briefs. He was warm and I needed to be quick. I merged with his outer form, taking control of most motor functions, but he would be doing most of the work. I would just be walking around as him. I felt his brain reacting well, despite the limited control he had. When I opened my eyes, I saw the opposite brick wall and the spilled coffee with the ice cubes drifting away towards a storm drain. Regaining my balance, I looked down at my new vessel and smiled, knowing it would be good enough, if not better, than the one currently resting.
I made sure there were no witnesses before crossing the street with my hands in my pocket, my fingers touching the tip of my cock which had hardened from the possession and was pulsating against the my warm leg. By the time I got there, my old body was gone.He was probably disoriented and returned to his own reality. I had no choice but to remain in this host and I removed my clothes, standing shirtless in my apartment to let the cold air blow against my skin. Summer is a hot thing on Earth and I’m surprised the population doesn't melt away from the ultraviolet radiation beating down on the planet. A lucky series of events and they don't even know how lucky they are that their atmosphere hasn't fallen apart already.
I closed my eye and stretched, finally cool, but I quickly turned my heads toward the ringing door bell. I paused for a moment and hoped that they would leave but whoever it was knocked. Again, I waited, hoping that this stranger would figure out that I didn't want to speak or even see another human at this moment.
“I know you’re in there. I saw you go in. I know you’re not the guy you're in.” It said, looking through the peephole to see if I was looking. I squinted through the glass and saw another male. Retrieving a new shirt, I slid it on and opened the door.
“I know it’s not you in there.” He repeated himself, pulling out his phone and scrolling to the sides, showing me that he took pictures of the events that took place next to eh coffee puddle. This little device had detailed pictures of what I looked like outside of a body and the process. He was good.
“Um.” I was obviously afraid that this human was going to expose me and he could tell.
“No worries. You were lucky that it was me who saw you doing it and not some other lame ass human.” His lips curled up into a smile which was something that actually felt genuine and warm. It suddenly hit me that this was my first real human interaction.
“Give it here.” I said to him as his eyes were glued to mine. He refused to let go and had a tight grip. I could have easily taken it from him, especially with my current vessel's strength, but I wanted to see where this was going to go. Nevertheless, I let go and he pushed his way inside, his hand sliding against my upper body as his eyes darted around the room.
“What do you want? No one will believe you if you show them the images. You have no actual proof.” I switched on the lights and one of the lamps lit up, a beehive of light. Quite beautiful actually. I thought about it for a moment and I knew that photographic evidence would be enough to expose me if they were given to the right humans.
“Oh, nothing. I just want to be friends. Really.” He smiled and he showed me his screen, deleting the photos in front of me. “I am fascinated by aliens. I actually have a club downtown that meets every week. I would love it if you could stop by and show us some tricks or whatever.”
“What makes you think-”
“I don’t think. I just want to be friends. All of the people in the club are sworn to never talk about anything that happens in the club, especially if it is about the discovery of aliens. We want to preserve and help not cut open and destroy.”
“Oh.” I thought about it. Humans were a very curious group of people and I knew they were capable of cutting me open, as he had said, but that would require exposure. “Perhaps.” I said, walking over to the kitchen.
"Why do you care?" The human asked, leaning on the counter. I remembered the courtesy lesson and pulled out a second glass, pouring him a drink as well.
"You were threatening to expose me. You had enough proof to put yourself on the map and I don't need that right now. Not after everything that has happened." Everything felt more casual as I made the drinks and slid one of the glasses across the counter.
“It’s fascinating.” He moved closer to me and poked my chest, grabbing the cup. “That’s you inside of his body and he doesn’t have any control. Fantastic. Hot.” The smile he had on his face since he walked in here didn't fade. I could see it get stronger.
"You are a fascinating specimen as well," I starting putting everything away so that the kitchen was back in order, "you had all your proof and you chose to walk in to what could have been a potential threat and you get rid of your only chance of survival to, what, hit on me?" I laughed.
He chuckled to himself and shrugged, pulling his bag around and pulling out a small container. He slid out a tiny card and put it on the counter, “I have a blog too but we can talk about that later. Hopefully you will stop by some time before you have to change faces. I like this one.” He left the empty glass in front of me and stopped at the door on the way out, "You can text me or something. If you know how to do that." He disappeared out the front entrance and the door latched, leaving me alone in my apartment.
“Michael.” I said aloud. Reading the name in the center of the white rectangle. There was no last name just the first. I flipped it over and there was a phone number and a website.
“Michael.” I said again. Maybe I would stop by for a second. It couldn’t hurt anything, could it?
