29. Ancient

The clouds were starting to become dark and Matthius was scrambling to get where he was going. He climbed over rocks and found the pebble studded shoreline before it was able to start raining. As he walked to the center of it, he was stripping his clothes and leaving a trail behind him until he could feel the wind rushing around his body. It almost seemed to embrace him as he looked up, extending his arms out and enjoying the feeling.

"I'm yours, ancient one." Matthius spoke with a smile growing on his face and in that moment it started to rain. The water along the shore seemed get more aggressive as the wind picked up, almost sweeping Matthius away. The clouds grew darker and time felt like it was beginning to slow down. The wind settled to a stir, the rain drops that were speeding down were now slowing to a stop, and the lightning off in the distance froze before the two ends of the crackling electricity met. Matthius was beaming as he offered his body to the ancient one.

A cloud spiraled above, creating a pillar of light that cast down onto Matthius' body before a bolt of lightning shot out of it. It shot right into his open mouth, disappearing inside of him with such speed that his body crumbled to the ground. The pebbles crunched underneath him as time started to speed back up, lying there while the storm disappeared.

He opened his eyes and looked up at the sky before standing up and balancing on the shore. He looked down at himself, sliding his hands along his body and feeling the furry torso. The ancient one was no in control.

"Thank you human. I will not forget this. Your body is a suitable host for me." He said with such a deep voice that it even caught him off guard. He reached up, massaged his throat, coughed, and then spoke again, "That's better." His voice had now adjusted back to match his body.

"And now to enjoy it." He sauntered over to the clothes he left as a trail and picked them up. The only one he put back on was the underwear, carrying the rest with a smirk and enjoying how the breeze from the water felt on his skin.
